AgroPages-Chinese fungicide production up 33% in the first two months of 2015-Agricultural news

According to National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS), China’s agrochemical production increased by 5.8% in the first two months of 2015 to 578 thousand tons, versus the same period of last year. Herbicides production recorded an increase of 14.2% to 322 thousand tons, accounting for 55.7% of the total, while insecticide production decreased by 23.8% to 76 thousand tons, making up 13.2% of the total. The production of fungicide was 30 thousand tons, up by 33.4%, representing 5.2% of the total.
