AgroPages-Dow AgroSciences introduces insecticide spinetoram in Brazil-Agricultural news

Dow AgroSciences introduced in Brazil two new options of insects control based on active ingredient spinetoram. The products Exalt® SC and Delegate® WG are the new insecticides for the control of caterpillars and other pests on soybean and fruit groves.

As part of the Soy Solution™ platform, the insecticide Exalt® presents high selectivity to natural enemies of soybeans and acts quickly and efficiently in the complex control of caterpillars in this crop. "As a result, the crop develops itself more consistently and with productivity gains," states the manufacturer. Delegate® acts with high shock power and has a wide spectrum of insect control on tomatoes and eight other crops. This product has extended residual effect and high selectivity.

Dow AgroScience will introduce its new products in the Showtec Maracaju, an event that occurs between 21 and 23 of January in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. The company registered spinetoram in New Zealand, the USA and Canada in 2007 as Delegate WG for fruit and nut trees and Radiant SC for vegetables, followed by Mexico in 2008, and Japan in 2011.
