Canada oks Dow AgroSciences’ herbicide flumetsulam

The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has confirmed the continued registration of Dow AgroSciences' herbicide flumetsulam after a re-evaluation. The agency proposed new risk reduction measures for this ais to further protect human health and the environment. Flumetsulam is currently registered in Eastern Canada for control of broadleaved weeds in hybrid field corn and soybeans.
