The first official list (Article 95) of suppliers of biocidal active ingredients and products in the EU has been published by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). This list is part of the EU Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR, 528/2012), which has been amended in April 2014. As from 1 September 2015, a biocidal product cannot be made available on the EU market unless either the ais or the product supplier is included in the list.
The list includes the names of ais suppliers, their countries and product suppliers, product-types (PTs) they are included for, its reason for inclusion, and the inclusion date.
The list will be updated regularly by ECHA. Applications for an entry may be submitted from new suppliers, including manufacturers, importers and formulators. They can only be accepted by a company established within the EU, However, non-EU companies can be represented by an EU representative, and be indicated on the list next to their EU representative.
The list is available at http://echa.europa.eu/information-on-chemicals/active-substance-suppliers
