Bayer CropScience launched Movento Plus, a new solution to control cotton flies and cotton aphids in Argentina. "This is the only insecticide with a double system (ascendant and descendant) and with characteristic that transforms it in the best tool to control sucking insects", affirms Roberto Garcia, marketing coordinator at Bayer in Northern Argentina.

The new insecticide is composed by two new active ingredients: Spirotetramat and Imidacloprid. According to the company, the advantages of the product are the wide spectrum and high residuality. Despite this, say the manufacturers, Movento Plus does not affect beneficial insects and does not generate crossed resistance with the existing insecticides.

"We want to continue to offer innovation to cotton producers as an integrated solution, not only through agrochemicals, as the case of Movento Plus, but also through a comprehensive proposal that includes seeds and allows a higher quantity and quality of fibers", said Natalia Lavena, the Bayer CropScience responsible for cotton in the Southern Cone.
