Bayer launches fungicides Interface™ and Dedicate™ in China

Bayer CropScience recently held "Intelligent Turf Management Solution Seminar" in Guangdong, China, and launched two new fungicides Interface™(iprodione and trifloxystrobin) and Dedicate® (tebuconazole and trifloxystrobin).

Formulated by StressGard™ technology, the new generation turf fungicide Interface™, delivers unsurpassed disease control and long lasting protection against 6 key turf diseases leading to visibly healthier turf. This product also leaves turf less susceptible to other stress factors such as heat, drought, cold and cutting.

Being the most advanced turf formulation yet, StressGard™ Formulation Technology is unique to Bayer, has taken over 15 years of Research and Development and has been specifically designed for turf by using active and inert ingredients. The formulation has been fine tuned to upgrade the performance of the product, providing superior disease control.

Dedicate® is a highly effective contact and systemic turf fungicide. It is rapid acting, long lasting and can be used throughout the year but is particularly effective against summer turf disease pressures.

The golf industry in China has entered into a rapid growth phase since 2010. There were around 600 golf courses by the end of 2013, however, the turf maintenance and management level is variable. To meet the increasing demand of golf consumers, it is becoming more difficult for turf manager to maintain turf in its best statement. Under this situation, Bayer launched these two products as its first innovation solutions for China golf industry.
