AgroPages-EU extends approval periods for five ais-Agricultural news

The European Commission recently has confirmed the extend approval periods of five active ingredients for one year to provide sufficient time to complete their renewal procedures. They are: herbicide clopyralid, fungicides cyprodinil, fosetyl, and pyrimethanil, and plant growth regulator trinexapac. The five ais approvals were due to expire on 30 April 2017. The European Commission extends all the expiry dates to 30 April 2018. If approval criteria are not satisfied, the Commission will set the expiry date at the same date as before.
