The Already Belt ® insecticide succeeded in control of caterpillars, mainly from Helicoverpa armigera. The insecticide CropStar ®, exclusively for seed protection, was highlighted by helping farmers in pest management that affect the development of plants in their early phases. And the fungicide/bactericide Serenade ®, which arrived in 2013 to complement the portfolio of the company, being a tool so for the farmer to control diseases in crops of apples, onions and strawberries.

Another highlight was the Bayer CropScience unit which was featured in 2013, for the announcement of important acquisitions in the segment of soybean seeds in Brazil. In addition to the integration of SoyTech, acquired in 2011, it announced the acquisition of germplasm bank of Agropastorial Improvement, with technologies for the southern region of Brazil, and soybean seed companies Wehrtec, with technologies for the Midwest.
