Syngenta Canada recently announced the launch of Vibrance® Maxx seed treatment(fludioxonil, metalaxyl-M , sedaxane), a convenient combination of Apron Maxx® RTA® and Vibrance, for use on peas, lentils and chickpeas. Vibrance Maxx seed treatment provides control of early-season diseases, including Rhizoctonia, to help ensure a healthy stand establishment.
"Now growers can reap the benefits of advanced technology, delivering strong results in their pulse crops - similar to what they've experienced in their cereal fields with products like Cruiser Maxx® Vibrance Cereals and Vibrance XL," said Nathan Klages, Product Lead, Seedcare with Syngenta Canada.
Vibrance Maxx for pulses combines two powerful Seedcare™ products to give growers the advantage of three active ingredients: fludioxonil, metalaxyl-M and sedaxane. Vibrance Maxx provides control of seed decay, seedling blight, damping-off caused by Rhizoctonia soliani and post-emergent damping-off. This product also helps manage soil-borne disease pressure often associated with short rotations and increased soil conservation practices.
For growers who require control of insects such as pea leaf weevil and wireworms, Vibrance Maxx may also be mixed with Cruiser® 5FS. The Cruiser 5FS product can be mixed and applied on-farm using a closed-system treater.
"Vibrance Maxx is a complete disease control package that offers flexible application and sets a new standard for Rhizoctonia control in pulse crops. It's a reliable seed treatment option that offers growers peace of mind," Klages concluded.
