China approved 31 pesticide ais registrations in July 2013

The Chinese Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA) has approved the registrations of 31 pesticide active ingredients in July, 2013 (excluding the renewal of registration), covering 11 herbicides, 10 insecticides, 6 fungicides , 2 plant growth regulators, 1 virucide and 1 biopesticide.

In terms of registration type, there are 28 formal registrations (5-year validity), 5 of them only for export, the remained 3 belong to interim registration (1-year validity). 
 
Furthermore, Lier Chemical received the registration approval for plant elicitor Methiadinil ( 96%TC), Jiangxi YiChun XinLong Chemical received the registration approval for a fungicide Mamestra brassicae multiple NPV (20 billion PIB/g TC), both of which were registered in China for the first time.
