Bayer CropScience launches SeedGrowth brand to integrate seed treatment expertise

On Jun 27, the Bayer SeedGrowth symposium and first forum was launched with the witness of more than 20 General Managers from national top seed companies in Beijing, China. “This year is Bayer 150 anniversary and our SeedGrowth business also has more than 100-year history.” Country Head of Bayer CropScience (China), Rob Hulme addressed the opening, “The brand launch of SeedGrowth indicates Bayer is the only company that offers a fully integrated system for on-seed applications. With the integrated four expertise pillars i.e. Product, Coating, Equipment and Service, Bayer can deliver more professional and comprehensive solutions to China seed industry.”
New image integrates Bayer expertise
When Head of Marketing of BCS China, Kevin Cheng, Business Manager of BCS China, Mr. Pingya Tong, the famous researcher on corn seed industry from CAAS and Rob poured 4 bucket of balls into the desk, the new brand and image indicating Bayer SeedGrowth was officially launched. The four parts and colors of the ball precisely represent the Bayer four expertises in seed treatment.
Innovative product makes Bayer roll the development of seed treatment even seed market. Coating and the technology improves seed appearance and planting ability. Seed treatment equipment meets different needs of seed companies based on their production capacity. At the last but not the least, SeedGrowth Application Center provides all-around service both in–house and in-field.
Innovative portfolio package
During the symposium, Hong Huang spoke with confidence, “Bayer walks more closely with seed industry by the event. With the weapon of innovative portfolio package, Bayer is always targeting to meet farmer needs.” The current products including Gaucho, Raxil, Langis, Vitavax and Rancona make Bayer as the leader of China seed treatment market. In the next few years, the pipeline like Sunato and rice seed treatment products will be mainly positioned in seed industry, aiming to share the excellent product resources with Bayer customers i.e. “Bayer Key Account” and finally solve farmer’s problem.
