Syngenta constructs new pesticide facility in Nantong, China

Syngenta Crop protection in Nantong recently hold the foundation laying ceremony of Yangtze No.2 project, which is expected to add an annual capacity of 15000 tons of pesticides, improving fine chemical industry in Nantong to a new level.
The total investment to this project is around Yuan 220 milliom($35.8 million at the current rate), which will be used to construct product pipelines as well as supporting control buildings, warehouses and other utilities for producing herbicides, suspension insecticides and fungicides, seed coating and other agrochemicals. This project adopts world-leading safe and environmental friendly formulations in combination with state-of-the-art and mature technology, producing pesticides with high efficiency and low toxicity.
