Insecticides (India) Limited posted a 21% rise in revenues and a 16% jump in the net profit for the first nine months of FY 2011-12, over the corresponding period last year.
While the company saw its net profit Rs. 3025.49 Lacs for nine months, against Rs. 2607.93 Lacs during the corresponding period last year, its net sales increased by nearly 21% to Rs. 43705.43 Lacs for the same corresponding period.
Mr. Rajesh Aggarwal, Managing Director, Insecticides (India) Limited, said: “We are very happy that we have been able to maintain a consistent growth trajectory over the years. With new tie ups and increase in production capacities, we are sure that our profits would grow.”
Insecticides (India) Limited has recently reached an agreement with Nissan Chemical Industries, Ltd. Japan for exclusive marketing of an patented fungicide Pulsor. Over the last one decade, Insecticides (India) Limited has maintained a healthy growth trajectory, thereby emerging as one of the fastest growing company in the agro-chemical sector. It has a CAGR (compounded annual growth rate) of 35 %.
The company, engaged in the manufacturing of all types of insecticides, fungicides, weedicides, herbicides and plant growth regulators for all crops and also household insecticides. Company has also setup new plants in Gujarat and J&K last year to realize its ambitious growth targets.
