Advanced Biological Marketing is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Don Botkin as its National Sales Manager. In his new role, Botkin will be responsible for all ABM sales operations in the U.S., including the company’s crop production, institutional sanitation, and environmental waste management biological product lines.
"Don brings a wealth of sales management experience, skills, and talents that we need to help propel ABM into the future,” said ABM CEO Dan Custis. “He has great communication and interactional skills, and both our sales force and customers will find him to be very responsive to their needs.”
Botkin brings an impressive progression of successful sales management experience to ABM. Most recently he was based in Raleigh, N.C. as Business Manager—Insecticides for Bayer CropScience. Prior experience with Bayer included a stint as a Territorial Sales Manager for that company’s Environmental Science Group, where he was responsible for pesticide, fungicide and herbicide sales in Ohio and Michigan. Before Bayer, Botkin had extensive experience in sales management with a wide range of lawn care, seed, and fertilizer products. Botkin is a graduate of West Chester University, West Chester, Pa., where he majored in communications with a minor in marketing.
Botkin began his new position on October 15. He said he was attracted to ABM by the company’s people, its reputation for innovation, production, and marketing of high-quality specialty biological products, and its growth potential. Botkin will relocate from Raleigh to Ohio in January.
