India approved 24 pesticide registrations in November 2012

The Indian Central Insecticides Board and Registration Committee (CIBRC) has approved the registration of 24 pesticide technicals in November 2012, including 10 insecticides, 8 herbicides and 6 fungicides. For registration type, there are seven products registered only for export purpose. Sixteen product registrations belong to the  9 (4)-"Me-Too” registration.

Hindustan Pulverising Mills has received the most product registration including three herbicides and four insecticides. These three herbicides are pretilachlor, sulfosulfuron and clodinafop-propargyl. The four insecticides are thiamethoxam, buprofezin, fipronil and monocrotophos.
