Additional crop registrations for Cheminova’s KOVERALL
Date:10-18-2012
Cheminova announces additional crop registrations in California for KOVERALL (mancozeb), a broad spectrum foliar fungicide.
KOVERALL is used to control apple diseases such as scab, rusts, and other summer diseases. It is also used to protect against diseases in a multitude of crops including potatoes, tomatoes, and sugar beets. With this label amendment, KOVERALL may now also be applied to broccoli, cabbage, and lettuce in California.
"We are pleased that growers now have the option of using KOVERALL on more of their high value specialty crops,” says Deneen Sebastian, Cheminova North American fungicide portfolio manager.
"KOVERALL is a proven performer that provides broad spectrum disease control when applied as part of a preventive fungicide spray program,” she says. “It is a flexible tank-mix partner for many other labeled crop protection products, including Cheminova’s TOPGUARD fungicide.”
