Myclobutanil and more ais approved by APVMA

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has confirmed the approval for the active ingredients of triazole fungicide myclobutanil, and amide herbicide flumetsulam applied by Dow Agrosceiences Australia Ltd in its recent notice. Myclobutanil is originally produced in India, and flumetsulam from USA.
Myclobutanil was added to Annex I of EU agrochemical registration Directive (91/414) on June 1st, 2011. EU member states have to re-register myclobutanil-based products until May 31st, 2015.
The amide herbicide saflufenacil applied by BASF, pyridine herbicide triclopyr butoxyethyl ester by IMTRADE, and organophosphorus herbicide glyphosate by CERTICH were all approved as released in the same notice.
