Bharat Rasayan seeking contracts/toll manufacturing for its new plant

Bharat Rasayan Limited, a Group Company of Bharat Group, is looking for global contracts/toll manufacturing for agrochemical/ intermediates at its upcoming plant in Dahej, Gujarat, India, which mainly produces insecticides, herbicides and fungicides etc. A top official told reporters on Wednesday.
"The Plant is located in an area of 26 acres and will have large extra space for manufacturing of additional products and company is looking for contract/toll manufacturing of the same for domestic as well as overseas customers.” Director, R.P. Gupta said.
"Civil Construction at our Dahej Plant is in last phase and expected to start operations from March 2012 and we see it achieving full capacity utilization very soon i.e. around 4000 MT technical/intermediates per annum.” Managing Director S. N. Gupta said.
Today India is better placed in terms of cost of manufacturing agrochemicals in the world and lot of multinational corporations, particularly from Japan, are thinking of moving their manufacturing to India.
"Turnover of the group is growing by 25 % per annum and will cross 400 Cr. in the current financial year.” Director, M. P. Gupta said. Company is exporting its products to around 55 countries that including various multinational corporations.
