Xingfa Group's subsidiary wins provincial science and technology award for glyphosate synthesis technology in China

On January 6th, the Hubei Province Science and Technology Innovation Conference was held grandly in Wuhan, China. At this conference, two subsidiaries of Xingfa Group—Hubei Trisun Chemical and Hubei Xingrui—were awarded the Hubei Province Science and Technology Progress Award for their innovative achievements in glyphosate synthesis technology and key production technology of methyl vinyl silicone rubber, respectively.

Among them, the project "Continuous Catalytic Synthesis of Glyphosate and Recovery Technology of By-product glyphosate and Its Industrialization," led by Trisun Chemical, received the second prize. The project addresses the issues of low yield, discontinuous production, and the failure to achieve high-value utilization of glyphosate in the waste liquid in China's glycine method of glyphosate production process. It innovatively developed a new technology for continuous catalytic synthesis of glyphosate and recovery of by-product glyphosine, and successfully achieved industrialization. This technology not only effectively improves the utilization rate of atoms and reduces pollutant emissions, but also greatly enhances the competitiveness of China's glyphosate products in the international market, with the overall technology reaching the international advanced level.

So far, Xingfa Group has accumulated 29 science and technology awards at the provincial and ministerial level and above, including two national science and technology progress second prizes and 11 first prizes at the provincial and ministerial level. The award this time is not only an affirmation of Xingfa Group's achievements in the field of scientific and technological innovation, but also further highlights its strong strength and outstanding contribution in promoting industry technological progress and industrial upgrading.
