Vittia has exclusively revealed to AgroPages its new multi-site fungicide Triunfe, establishing a new product class featuring an unprecedented combination of copper and sulfur with both protective and curative action.
According to the Brazilian company, the product embodies their "main commitments to producing high-technology inputs to help Brazilian agriculture produce more and better."
Made from mineral material, Triunfe is compatible with Vittia's other biological inputs. The manufacturer stated this "enhances the use" of bio-inputs and "reinforces the company's concern with products and care for crops, land, and people."
Furthermore, Vittia explained that the multi-site fungicide "is cleaner than other multi-site products available in the market and, being more concentrated, significantly reduces active ingredient dispersion in the environment through excellent operational efficiency."
"There are other important differentiators. Its formulation is stable, and an exclusive process ensures uniform particle size. The risk of resistance is drastically reduced due to the diversity of action sites and triple function (preventive, curative, and radiating). Triunfe shows the high residual effect, with an elevated and longer-lasting fixation on leaf surfaces," emphasized Edgar Zanotto, Vittia's Marketing Director.
The company also highlighted additional benefits of the novel sulfur and copper combination, essential elements that protect and control diseases that inhibit plant productivity.
"Beyond its nutritional importance, sulfur acts on bacterial and fungal metabolic activities. Copper acts on their membrane, causing cellular leakage. In both cases, the bacteria and fungi die," Zanotto explained.
Vittia's new solution effectively combats Asian soybean rust, ramularia spot (cotton), alternaria leaf spot (tomatoes), citrus canker, and coffee leaf rust, serving as a key ally in fighting diseases and improving crop productivity.
"Vittia's priority is developing effective and safe solutions that truly contribute to increased field productivity. With Triunfe, we are making available to farmers a modern, effective, and highly safe multi-site fungicide. We are proud to offer this technology, which will contribute to the success of Brazilian agriculture and food production," Zanotto said in conclusion.
