Gansu Binnong Technology launches annual 1,200-ton tembotrione TC pilot project

A few days ago, Gansu Binnong Technology Co., Ltd announced the launch of an annual 1,200-ton tembotrione pilot project, which is publicized on a government website. 

The project aims to validate the production process and provide exploratory supply to the market. For this reason, the company has decided to give up the original plan to launch the annual 3,000-ton bentazone capacity, as contained in the 22,000-ton pesticide and intermediate project. This has now been changed to the new build of a tembotrione pilot production line in the tembotrione drying workshop within the existing plant area.

According to open information, the project requires an investment of RMB50 million yuan and is located in the plant area of Gansu Binnong Technology Co., Ltd within the Chemical Industry Park of Lanzhou New District. The project encompasses a new pilot plant, which includes tembotrione pilot production and supporting facilities.

Gansu Binnong Technology Co., Ltd was established on August 5, 2020. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shandong Binnong Technology Co., Ltd, which was founded in 2003. Shandong Binnong Technology Co., Ltd is a national high-tech enterprise and China’s designated pesticide manufacturer integrating research, manufacturing, and trading activities. 

The business scope of Gansu Binnong Technology Co., Ltd covers pesticide production, retailing, wholesaling, registration trials, and hazardous chemical production. The launch of the tembotrione TC pilot plant represents the company’s further production expansion and technological innovation.
