Liaoning Zhonghui Biotechnology to refurbish annual 8,000-ton prothioconazole project

Liaoning Zhonghui Biotechnology Co., Ltd recently announced the details of its annual 8,000-ton pesticide technical and by-product production project on its official website. The project is a refurbishment of the existing facility, to be implemented by Liaoning Zhonghui Biotechnology Co., Ltd, at a total investment of RMB300 million using the existing workshop in the factory area to build an annual 8,000-ton prothioconazole production line.

Prothioconazole is used for control of diseases on cereal crops such as wheat and barley, as well as rapeseed, peanut, rice and legume. Since its establishment in July 2018, Liaoning Zhonghui Biotechnology Co., Ltd is committed to the research and development, production and sales of pesticides and pharmaceutical intermediates, being a high-tech enterprise located in Fuxin Fluorine Industry Development Zone, Liaoning Province. The launch of this project marks another important milestone in production of pesticidal active ingredient.
