Agbioscout Ltd., a UK-based agritech innovation consultancy, and AiPi LLC, an intellectual property consultancy, have signed a partnership agreement to launch a new services and equity model under the rebranded entity, Accumont Advisors.
The partnership combines expertise in intellectual property, strategy, partnerships, mentoring and advisory services alongside a new equity-for-services model. The company will provide high-potential early-stage companies in North America and Europe with access to world-class professional expertise, intelligence, and networks–affordably-by exchanging equity to accelerate their growth. Accumont Advisors will establish offices in Washington, U.S. and London, United Kingdom better supporting innovation companies across North America and Europe.
″We are excited to partner with Agbioscout in the launch of Accumont Advisors in North America and Europe, blending our unique Intellectual Property solutions and expertise with their advisory and intelligence services to form a specialist consultancy that can significantly accelerate urgently needed technology in the agriculture and food production space,″ said Eric Morehouse, Managing Partner of AiPi. ″Rethinking how consultancy businesses like ours can work with early-stage companies will allow us to help build strong future relationships with a new generation of enterprises.″
Launching at World Agritech, London, Accumont Advisors will collaborate with agritech companies to build long-term value by protecting their intellectual property, growing scalable business models through industry partnerships and securing funding to secure long-term growth. Accumont Advisors works with several accelerators, venture funds, industry partners and distribution platforms across North America, Europe and the Middle East.
″Joining AiPi’s intellectual property solutions along with our advisory capabilities and industry networks makes Accumont Advisors a powerful platform for early-stage agritech companies to scale and build value. By unlocking our business model to share in the future growth, we overcome the traditional barriers and for the first time can work in a true sense of partnership to protect, invest and grow the value of our clients″ says Stephen Pearce, Chairman of Agbioscout. ″We are also adding significant experience to our board and technical advisory groups to provide mentoring and expertise to these companies to help them succeed.″
Starting in October, with the official launch at World Agritech, agritech entrepreneurs are encouraged to reach out to Accumont Advisors to explore how they can benefit from its expertise, expanded services and new business model.
″To help on-board early-stage companies and let them know their readiness for investment, we have developed a benchmarking tool called the Investment Readiness Evaluation which assesses nine key investment criteria that investors use in their screening. This allows us and the entrepreneurs to understand where they are in the growth journey. We have seen this tool make a significant difference to the focus and development of teams and tech companies,″ said Paul Streater, Chief Operating Officer of Agbioscout.
