The DEKALB and Asgrow seed brands will introduce 46 new products for 2025, offering farmers high performance potential with advanced protection against yield-robbing pests.
The DEKALB brand will offer 25 new products, including an expanded portfolio of SmartStax PRO products with RNAi Technology -- the first trait package from Bayer with three modes of action for corn rootworm control.
An expanded lineup of VT4PRO products with RNAi Technology will also be featured. These products offer an elite above-ground pest package for corn through Trecepta Technology and two modes of action for corn rootworm control.
"We're very excited to double down in 2025 on our SmartStax PRO, the strongest corn rootworm protection from Bayer, and VT4PRO, which brings the widest spectrum of insect protection from Bayer against some of the toughest corn pests," said DEKALB brand manager Jamie Horton. "These trait technologies, combined with the brand's strong agronomic package, will help farmers protect their fields and achieve high yield potential."
All DEKALB products next season will also continue to include Acceleron Seed Applied Solutions ELITE with Enhanced Disease Control to help improve early-to-midseason disease protection. And new for 2025, all of the brand's new products will come standard with Acceleron N-314 nematicide, which brings the combination of Votivo and fluopyram nematicide to help protect corn against the unseen pest -- nematodes.
Horton noted the brand's 2025 portfolio also offers three new DEKALB Silage Proven products that are specifically bred for silage and high nutritional value for feed.
Twenty-one new Asgrow XtendFlex soybean products will be introduced next season, providing farmers with high yield potential and flexibility to help manage tough-to-control weeds.
In addition to offering Acceleron Seed Applied Solutions seed treatments for early-to-midseason disease protection, Asgrow XtendFlex soybeans are bred with defensive agronomics to help protect against key soybean diseases such as white mold, Phytophthora, brown stem rot and iron deficiency chlorosis. The 2025 lineup also provides one new product with moderate Peking resistance, which offers enhanced protection against soybean cyst nematodes.
"The 2025 launch class further demonstrates our strong commitment to innovation," said Matthew Goddard, technical product lead. "This new class provides key performance updates in our portfolio and has shown high yield potential, so we'll be able to make an immediate performance impact with this launch."
