IFFCO secures 20-year patent for innovative Nano Nitrogen-Phosphorus fertilizer

The Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) announced that it has been granted a 20-year patent for its invention, the stable Nano Nitrogen-Phosphorus containing fertilizer.

The innovative fertilizer, developed through meticulous research and development, promises to revolutionize the agricultural sector. It ensures the effective utilization of nitrogen and phosphorus nutrients in crops, paving the way for more profitable and sustainable farming practices.

IFFCO initially applied for the patent on February 8, 2023, and the official grant was conferred on July 31, 2024. The patent certificate includes the names of the inventors Arunachalam Lakshmanan, Udai Shanker Awasthi, Yogendra Kumar, Birinder Singh, Deepak Gajanan Inamdar, and Tarunendu Singh.
