A subsidiary of Rainbow planning 1,050-ton fungicide project including prochloraz

A few days ago, Ningxia Gerui Fine Chemical Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Rainbow, publicized the EIA of an annual 1,050-ton fungicide project on a local government website.

According to the publication, Ningxia Gerui Fine Chemical Co., Ltd plans to spend RMB32 million yuan on an annual 1,050-ton fungicide project, located within the Taixi Portion of Pingluo Industrial Park, Ningxia. The project covers installations of 500t/a prochloraz, 50t/a thifluzamide, 100t/a procymidone, 200t/a copper hydroxide and 200t/a copper oxychloride, accompanied with construction of storage and transportation as well as environmental facilities. 

Founded in 2006, Ningxia Gerui Fine Chemical Co., Ltd is located within Pingluo Industrial Park, Ningxia. In May 2015, via an equity acquisition, the company became Rainbow’s share-controlled subsidiary. As approved by the Ministry of Agriculture, the company has been a designated pesticide manufacturer in China, being engaged in production of pesticides, pesticidal intermediates, fine chemicals and pesticide formulations.
