The Brazilian Grupo Orion, specializing in the application of biological products in planting furrows, announced exclusively to AgroPages the launch of its new brand LYNX. The new brand was created to be responsible for positioning and marketing the group's portfolio of biological products.
According to Grupo Orion, the brand offers producers an ideal combination of high-performance biologicals and advanced application technology with the Hunter equipment line. ″This combination ensures the delivery of live and viable microorganisms within the soil,″ states the manufacturer of equipment for the application of bioinputs in the furrow.
″The launch of LYNX represents a milestone for Grupo Orion. We are committed to providing producers with a complete and efficient solution for applying biologicals, combining our high-quality products with the market-leading application technology,″ said Ricardo Rodrigues da Cunha, CEO of Grupo Orion.
The LYNX portfolio consists of three main products: BioPartners® Azospirillum brasilense, BioPartners® Bradyrhizobium japonicum, and BioPartners® Trichoderma asperelloides. Each product is developed with specific strains and precise concentrations to ″ensure high performance in biological nitrogen fixation and increased crop productivity.″
The BioPartners® Azospirillum brasilense consists of the strains Ab-V5 and Ab-V6, with a concentration of 2x108 CFU/ml. The BioPartners® Bradyrhizobium japonicum consists of the strains SEMIA 5079 and SEMIA 5080, with a concentration of 7x109 CFU/ml. Finally, the BioPartners® Trichoderma asperelloides contains the strain MMBF 94/17, with a concentration of 1x109 CFU/g.
″We are excited to launch a portfolio that not only improves productivity but also contributes to soil regeneration and its microbiota, thus contributing to environmental, agronomic, economic, and social sustainability. LYNX is a direct response to producers' needs for more efficient and sustainable solutions,″ highlighted Ricardo.
″Our Hunter equipment is designed to maximize the performance of biological products, ensuring that the bacteria are applied precisely and effectively in the planting furrow. This results in a significant increase in crop productivity,″ explained Alexandre Santiago, Vice President of Grupo Orion.
With the introduction of LYNX, Grupo Orion positions itself as the only company capable of delivering a performance tripod composed of product, equipment, and knowledge. ″This differential provides producers with confidence in a consolidated and leading technology for furrow application, combined with a high-quality portfolio and a highly trained sales and after-sales team always available to better meet applications and support our clients,″ concluded Rodrigo Alandia, Marketing and New Business Director at Grupo Orion.
Founded in 1967 by Ricardo Rodrigues da Cunha, the current president and director of research and development, Grupo Orion is working to consolidate an expansion plan. The internationalization of the company includes the construction of plants in Paraguay – where it already has a representative office – and in Europe, starting with Portugal. The U.S. market is also on the manufacturer's radar. The company is building a new and modern factory in the city of Quintana, in the Brazilian state of São Paulo.
