Environmental Science, a business unit of Bayer CropScience LP, announced a label addition to Maxforce Complete Brand Granular Insect Bait (active ingredient: hydramethylnon). The range of this broad spectrum bait has expanded to include earwigs and crazy ants.
"Complete's superior formulation allows for a better bait acceptance by a variety of pests," said Gordon Morrison, Maxforce market manager for Environmental Science. "With the addition of earwigs and crazy ants to the label, PMPs can now rely on Complete to control an even larger range of pests."
The unique bait matrix in Maxforce Complete was specially designed by Bayer researchers to take advantage of the nutritional preferences of a broad range of perimeter pests, including ants, cockroaches, crickets, silverfish and now with the new label, earwigs and crazy ants as well. Granules within the formula contain different combinations of food ingredients that accommodate the changing food preferences of a broad spectrum of pests throughout the year, Environmental Science reports.
With the recent introduction of the flip-top 8-ounce container for application, Complete will also help PMPs achieve their sustainability goals, the company says. The refillable container helps prevent waste by providing better control of the product as it is applied. Maxforce's unique formulation delivers high performance results while maintaining the effective, low impact pest control required for sound IPM programs.
