A few days ago, Bayer held a product release conference in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, China, for market release of the product HaoShiDa, which is farmer’s new choice for control of insect pests.
Fluopyram is a SDHI fungicide and nematode developed by Bayer, which has grown into the second largest higher-fungus fungicide variety in China, with enormous potential in application to major fruit trees and field crops. Fluopyram is free of cross resistance with the rest of SDHI fungicides, with excellent systemicity and conductivity, high safety, broad fungicidal spectrum which effectively protect crop health; it is effective in prevention and control of a large variety of diseases, with a thorough fungicidal effect while reducing the occurrence of postharvest diseases.
HaoShiDa is a fluopyram.tebuconazole 35% SC formulation, which can effectively control various diseases. Its wide fungicidal spectrum allows for excellent control of cereal powdery mildew, rust, leaf spot and vegetable powdery mildew; It is highly systemic and conductive, with fast movement of active ingredients inside plants to give full play of the agent; the balanced lipophilicity and hydrophilicity provide a balanced protective and curative effect; the long lasting effect enables efficient and time-saving application; meanwhile HaoShiDa can promote plant health and put off plant premature senescence. While controlling wheat powdery mildew and rust diseases, HaoShiDa can be used for multiple purposes, being cost saving and labor saving, highly systemic and conductive, preventive and curative, with long lasting effect at low dosage for a satisfactory control of diseases. This well falls in line with the pesticide use reduction and efficiency increase initiative advocated at present time.
