According to a recent announcement on the local government website, the Prothioconazole and Propamocarb Hydrochloride Project of China’s Suli (Ningxia) New Material Technology Co., Ltd., was approved to proceed to the environmental impact assessment stage.
According to the announcement, the project, with a total investment of RMB520 million, will be in the existing factory area of Suli (Ningxia) New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., at the modern coal chemical industry park of the Ningdong Energy Chemical Base. The project’s product mix includes 2000t/a prothioconazole and 2000t/a propamocarb hydrochloride product lines, with production scheduled to begin in April 2025.
Under the project, two prothioconazole production workshops in the north factory area with an annual production capacity of 2000t/a, and one propamocarb hydrochloride production workshop in the south factory area with an annual production capacity of 2000t/a will be built. Due to adjustments to the layouts of the workshops, the originally planned 1000t/a prothioconazole and 1000t/a propamocarb hydrochloride production lines will no longer be built and will be treated as options for the environmental impact assessment.
