The Sino-Agri Union held its 14th Key Customer Strategy Seminar and Global Launch Ceremony of Created Product Trifluenfuronate in Ji’nan, China, on December 18, 2023.
More than 200 business partners and agricultural material elites from all over the country participated in the event, exchanging views and discussing industry opportunities and challenges.
At the event, Sino-Agri Union and all participants witnessed the global launch of the newly created product, trifluenfuronate.
Trifluenfuronate is an acaricidal compound with a brand-new mechanism of action developed by Sino-Agri Union through eight years of efforts, having been authorized in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia, the United States, India, and Brazil.
Trifluenfuronate can completely kill nematodes and inhibit nematode hatching. At the same time, trifluenfuronate is very safe and makes a breakthrough in clearing the risk of phytotoxicity on crop transplanting day, which is caused by conventional nematicides such as fosthiazate.
Trials show that compared with conventional nematicides, trifluenfuronate has a higher nematocidal activity and lasts longer. Trifluenfuronate can protect the crop root against nematode infection and enable a cleaner, more transparent, and healthier root system, thereby increasing yield and quality.
Xianma is a trifluenfuronate 5% granule with five properties: High efficiency, high safety, excellent control effect, improvement of crop quality, and promotion of root development. While measuring the nematocidal effect of trifluenfuronate, Sino-Agri Union also discovered the satisfactory acaricidal effect of the product. Trifluenfuronate’s new mechanism of action is safe for crops/bees, with a broad acaricidal spectrum and fast-acting effect.
Currently, China is facing a more complex and challenging international environment, while the business environment of enterprises appears to be increasingly uncertain. Sino-Agri Union adheres to its R&D and innovation-driven competence development principle, making yearly resource commitments to research and innovation of new compounds, types of formulations, processes and formulas.
Since its founding in 2010, the R&D Center of Sino-Agri Union has filed for 166 patents covering new product creation, process upgrading, research and development of new processes. So far, 63 patents have been authorized, while five innovative compounds are being released to the market or are in the commercialization process.
In the future, Sino-Agri Union is prepared to give full play to its technical material advantages to create super cost-effective products while strengthening product innovation and technical service to deliver differentiated created products.
