Government websites publicized the environmental impact assessment of Chinese agrochemical company Jiangsu Repont’s annual 1,950-ton technical material project a few days ago.
The project's total investment is RMB340 million yuan, which is an extended annual 1,950 tons of technical materials and 1,222 tons of the by-product hydrochloric acid. The technical materials include 50 tons of iodosulfuron-methyl sodium, 100 tons of mesosulfuron, 200 tons of florasulam, 200 tons of halosulfuron-methyl, 100 tons of cloransulam-methyl, 500 tons of thiencarbazone-methyl, 500 tons of sulfometuron-methyl, 200 tons of triflulsulfuron-methyl and 100 tons of diclosulam.
Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, Jiangsu Repont specializes in producing sulfonylurea herbicides. Repont has two production bases, located in Rudong, in Jiangsu Province and Gansu Province, respectively.
The Rudong base covers an area of 200 mu with a floor area of 56,000 square meters. Gansu Kangbasi Biotechnology Co., Ltd, runs the Gansu base. It covers an area of 475 mu and has a current floor area of 70,000 square meters.
Repont’s production bases are equipped with complete intermediates, active ingredient and formulation production lines, and packaging facilities, accredited to ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001.
