Storm Seeds B.V., one of the leading vegetable seeds companies in Belgium, signed an agreement with BASF’s vegetable seeds business to purchase its pea and bean seed activities. Both companies agreed not to disclose financial details of the transaction.

With this acquisition, we offer our customers a broader portfolio and it will strengthen our leading position in pulses.″

Both BASF and Storm Seeds are wholly committed to working closely together to ensure a seamless transition and to guarantee the uninterrupted supply of seed varieties.
Closing is anticipated in the fourth quarter of 2023.
