A few days ago, in the face of the challenging market situation, China’s Limin Co., Ltd answered questions from investors on the company’s countermeasures to be taken in the second half of the year.
Limin Co., Ltd says that at present, the purchase orders have increased to some extent, for which the company’s sales team is fully prepared to seize this round of opportunities, which will pave the way for achievement of the performance result set for the year. The company’s L-glufosinate project and Tembotrione project have been progressing smoothly and are expected to be put into production as scheduled. In the second half of the year, the company will continue its business consolidation among the group.
To further strengthen the company’s product superiority and enhance its core competitiveness, Hebei Veyong Biochemical, a subsidiary of Limin Co., Ltd, invested RMB330 million yuan on the launch of a L-glufosinate project. So far, the construction of the Phase I annual 10,000-ton L-glufosinate project is progressing smoothly and expected to go into production by the end of 2023.
At present, the environmental impact assessment of Veyong Biochemical’s 10,000-ton L-glufosinate project is undergoing the public comment process. Meanwhile, the company’s domestic and international registration process of L-glufosinate is underway as planned.
L-glufosinate has a higher activity than glufosinate, with better biocompatibility, quicker plant absorption and utilization, faster acting, more thorough weeding effect. It has the apparent advantages of time-saving, labor-saving and reduced regrowth of weeds, which provide a broad future market prospect. Veyong’s L-glufosinate project utilizes a green process based on bio-enzyme catalysis, with mild reaction conditions, less discharge of waste, low production cost, being an environment-friendly and safe process with market competitiveness.
