Sumitomo Chemical was present at the 31st Congress of the Argentine Association of Direct Seed Producers (Aapresid), under the slogan, "C, element of life," which was held from August 9 to 11 at the Rosario Metropolitano, Santa Fe.
Under the framework of the 31st Aapresid Congress, Sumitomo Chemical launched the fungicide, Excalia Max, an innovative solution that offers extra performance by protecting the leaf area during the critical crop period. It combines a triazole with a new carboxamide (Indiflin™), with excellent systemic and translaminar activity, great residual effect, and a broad spectrum of control against rusts and spots. This innovative fungicide is suitable for use on wheat and soybeans.
On the first day of the congress, the company participated in the discussion, titled, "From Knowledge to Practice: Panel of Experts and New Tools for Sanitary Management."
The discussion was given by INTA technicians Lucrecia Couretot and Juan Pablo Edwards Molina; consultant Margarita Sillon; Roberto de Rossi, Plant Protection Specialist from the Catholic University of Córdoba, and Guillermo Indaco, Regional Market Coordinator of Sumitomo Chemical. The panel was moderated by Agro TV journalist Diego Peydro.
During the three-day event, producers, technicians, engineers and the general public stopped by Sumitomo Chemical’s stand to talk with its specialists to learn more about upcoming launches and the company's solutions for crops.
