Coopercitrus Expo 2023: Spraying using AI saves up to 95% on herbicides

AgroPages was present at Coopercitrus Expo 2023 and viewed Ecossistema Campo Digital, a space dedicated to demonstrating the technologies that are revolutionizing agriculture.

One of the highlights was SaveFarm, a technology that uses an artificial intelligence (AI) system that can identify weeds in the middle of emerged crops and apply products accurately only on desired areas.

Equipped with sensors that are installed on the boom of agricultural sprayers, the system performs selective and conscious spraying, which generates savings of up to 95% in terms of herbicides.

″At Expo 2023, rural producers will have access to the best technological innovations that make it possible to achieve high performance during all stages of agricultural production, together with the most advantageous commercial conditions,″ said Luis Fernando Camarim, agricultural technology service manager at Coopercitrus.

The Campo Digital concept is a technology showroom focused on the field, providing producers with direct contact with the latest innovations, such as autopilot systems for tractors and drones, satellite monitoring, soil analyses with georeferencing, variable rate applications, and systematization projects.

In addition, the cooperative offers a complete structure to support producers before, during and after purchasing technologies, offering training and technical assistance services, as well as the maintenance of technologies.

Coopercitrus Expo 2023 brought together business opportunities, information and innovations that facilitate access to new technologies for producers.

Visitors can find opportunities for commercialization, services provision, and technical training on operating the technologies showcased at the event.
