Pilarquim recently held product launches for its new fungicides in Lasso (South Floricola Zone) and Cayambe (North Floricola Zone) on March 16 and 30, respectively.
More than 60 agronomists and administrative professionals from rose farms in the two regions attended the events, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

The launches introduced three fungicides: PILARCANIL SC, PILARZOX SC, PILARMIX SC, and PILARVIGO LS. These innovative solutions provide effective control against Peronospora sparsa and Botrytis cinerea, which are common problems encountered by flower growers.
Botrytis cinerea is a prevalent issue in the local rose industry, with a 30% incidence rate in the floral buds of the Rosa Star variety. However, with the application of PILARCANIL at a dosage of 0.75cc per liter of water, and evaluation after 12 hours, a 100% control rate of Botrytis cinerea was achieved in affected areas. For preventive measures, a dosage of 0.66cc is recommended.
