After the successful launch in other European markets, the product Zorvec Entecta™ (48 g/L oxathiapiprolin + 240 g/L amisulbrom), formulated as a liquid suspoemulsion, is now also available for potato cultivation in Germany.
The combination of the two active ingredients oxathiapiproline and amisulbrom offers protection against late blight (Phytophthora infestans) for up to 10 days after application. In terms of effectiveness, it is fully comparable to the tried and tested Zorvec Endavia™. The product also offers users reliable protection for new growth, is reliable against leaf infestation and is effective against stem phytophthora.
"Zorvec Entecta™ embodies all the proven advantages already known on the market from the predecessors of the "Zorvec family". The re-evaluation of active ingredients with the often associated omission of these makes it necessary to act with foresight and to drive new concepts. That is why we are very happy that we have succeeded again with Zorvec Entecta™ and that we can now offer agriculture a critical solution in the field of late blight in the long term," said Florian Amberger, Category Marketing Manager Fungicides DACH at Corteva Agriscience.
Zorvec Entecta™ also plays a vital role in developing late blight strategies. Due to its robust preventive effect, it offers the possibility of extending the intervals between applications for up to 10 days. This gives Zorvec Entecta™ a market-leading persistence that ensures a reliable duration of protection by both controlling late blight (Phytophthora infestans) in the plant and protecting new growth systemically.
Potato growers can apply Zorvec Entecta™ at a rate of 0.25 l/ha up to three times during one season. The active ingredient is ideal for starting spraying. In the follow-up treatments or the phase of the largest new growth, the product can be used both in the block application and in an alternating manner - depending on the infestation pressure, new growth and weather conditions.
