Gansu Beida Biotechnology Co., Ltd held a groundbreaking ceremony on March 6, for a new project with an annual 22,000-ton chemical pesticide technical and 5,000-ton fine chemicals as located in the local Hexipu Industrial Park in China.
Upon completion of the production base, it will bring about an annual production capacity of 22,000 tons of chemical pesticide technical, 500 tons of safeners and 5,000 tons of fine chemicals, which include difenoconazole, prothioconazole, zoxamide, tiorantraniliprole, flufenacet and fludioxonil.
Gansu Beida Biotechnology Co., Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Udragon, a Chinese company integrating research, development, and production of pesticides covering pesticide intermediates, pesticide technical and novel chemical materials.
Udragon’s Gansu production base is planned to cover 630 mu of land, (1 mu = 1/15 hectare) and floor area of more than 200,000 square meters, employing 600-plus staff. Through the introduction of the advanced production process, digital production management and modern production planning, the company will upgrade the work safety and pollution control measures; and build the new plant into a first-class digitalized and modernized pesticide research, development and production base.
