On December 28, Chinese agrochemical company KingAgroot’s Innovation Center announcedthe launch of two new patented compounds, Ezuofuchongan (噁唑氟虫胺) and Fuxiucaomi(氟溴草醚).
Ezuofuchongan
Ezuofuchongan is a GABA-gated chloride channel allosteric modulator, being included in IRAC Group 30. The product has a unique mode of action, free of cross resistance with other insecticides. Ezuofuchongan is both stomach-toxic and contact-toxic, being also systemic, fast-acting and capable of killing eggs. Its insecticidal spectrum covers a wide range of insect pests, such as Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Acarina (egg, larva, nymph, mite), Hemiptera (aphid) and Thysanoptera (thrips).
Ezuofuchongan is KingAgroot’s first patented insecticidal compound.
Fuxiucaomi
Fuxiucaomi is a soil sealant that can be applied on rice, wheat, corn, soybean and peanut crops, as well as some broad-leaf vegetable crops. Fuxiucaomi is suitable for rice transplantation, dry direct seeding and water direct seeding, being effective for controlling grassy weeds, such as barnyard grass, mole plant seed and crab grass, as well as some of the sedge family. It is effective to some extent against younger weeds at the early stage, following emergence in paddy field.
The sealing of soil is the first line of defense against resistant weeds. Fuxiucaomi is a state-of-the-art FAT inhibitor, free of cross resistance with existing mainstream agents, which is of a great significance to the resistance weed management of paddy fields and parts of dry crop fields.
