The ″OnFarm Biological Management″ solution created by the Brazilian SoluBio received the ″Solar Impulse Efficient Solution″ seal.
The international initiative recognizes 1,000 solutions that can change the world and, in Brazil, SoluBio is the only agribusiness company to be certified.
To receive the ″Solar Impulse Efficient Solution″ seal, SoluBio's OnFarm® Biological Management underwent an evaluation conducted by independent specialists, based on three criteria.
The first was Sustainability, which confirmed the technique's positive impacts on the environment by reducing the use of chemicals in agriculture. Sexd was the Efficiency of the technology. It was recognized in maintaining productivity in the plantations.
Finally there was Profitability. It considered all the environmental and production benefits. SoluBio’s biological management can still reduce up to 70% of costs for rural producers.
According to SoluBio's Sustainability Coordinator, Rafaela Vendruscolo, this recognition reinforces the company's commitment to developing Regenerative Agriculture and Bioeconomy, mainly in promoting climate resilience in agriculture.

″Our technology contributes to cleaner agriculture, reducing the impacts of chemicals on the soil and groundwater, with microorganisms as allies. In addition, it allows plants to become more resilient to water scarcity and climate changes, which are generally faced all around the world. All this while maintaining efficiency with more profitability for agricultural production and contributing to food security,″ she detailed.
Now, the solution is part of the portfolio of technologies that will be presented to companies and governments by the president of the Solar Impulse Foundation, Bertrand Piccard, the Swiss psychiatrist responsible for the first solar-powered plane to circle the world – and who has been recognizing and promoting sustainable solutions through its foundation.
The action aims to encourage the adoption of more ambitious environmental goals and accelerate the implementation of these solutions on a large scale.
The ″Solar Impulse Efficient Solution″ is one of the first stamps aimed at businesses with positive impacts and the only one to guarantee that certified solutions are profitable while protecting the environment.
Administered by the Solar Impulse Foundation, it relies on research and methodologies to evaluate each technology in partnership with renowned institutions. It is considered a true award for companies that seek to innovate and change the world based on their solutions.
