A set of 10 agrochemical solutions from Sipcam Nichino Brasil obtained registration extended to various crops, especially the so-called "minor crops".
The Ohkami insecticide, from the new molecule Tolfenpyrad, was registered to control the wheatworm and cruciferous moth in at least ten "minor crops".
Sipcam Nichino has stated that in addition to cereals, HF, and sugarcane, the insecticide Takumi (Flubendiamide), will now protect 12 more crops from the action of the caterpillars Helicoverpa armigera, wheatworm, and Spodoptera frugiperda.
According to the company, another solution considered innovative in its portfolio, the insecticide Pireo (Lufenuron) had prescriptions to control the oriental moth, a common pest in apple and peach orchards, incorporated into the package insert.
The extension of the Pireo registry also serves the sugar-energy sector in adopting measures to contain the sugarcane borer, in an integrated management system with the Takumi insecticide.
According to Sipcam Nichino, the extension of insecticide records also included the Fujimite solution (Fenpyroximate), an insecticide-acaricide that has emerged as a new tool to control the red mite in citrus farming.
Fungicides and broad spectrum
According to the company, the extension of registrations granted by Organs official bodies also accorded more attributes to the company's portfolio of fungicides.
The fungicide Fezan Gold (Tebuconazole and Chlorothalonil) obtained authorization for use in seven new biological targets, specific for crops with insufficient phytosanitary support and large crops, including bean anthracnose, corn spotlight, and soybean brown spot.
The fungicide Echo WG (Chlorothalonil) was extended to more than ten new biological targets in 11 crops such as potato, onion, carrot, beans, apple, papaya, watermelon, cucumber, rose, tomato, and grape. Among the economically relevant diseases now covered by these technologies, Sipcam Nichino highlights potato and tomato late blight.
Also according to the company, the fungicides Brisa (Thiophanate-methyl + Chlorothalonil), Academic (Cymoxanil + Mancozeb), and Zetanil (Cymoxanil + Chlorothalonil) complement the offer of solutions with expanded registration.
Bris joins the tools for managing various diseases in peanut, onion, carrot, papaya, watermelon, melon, ornamental plants, soybean, tomato, and grape crops.
Academic, in turn, was registered to control onion downy mildew, while Zetanil went on to protect watermelon and melon against downy mildew disease.
