BASF announced during the 30th Aapresid Congress that it would have 25 launches in Argentina over the next three years in crop protection, seeds and digital solutions.
Aimar Pena, Soybean Crop Manager at BASF, stated that the company will launch the new Voraxor herbicide (trifludimoxazin + Saflufenacil) in the coming months.

According to him, ″The product has a new molecule and stands out for a differentiated place of action, which helps to reduce the risk of a new resistance.″
″We are working to make it available soon for the Argentine market. It is already launched in the Uruguayan market and is being sold in the United States and Australia,″ Pena added.
In Argentina, the pre-launch of Voraxor involved the realization of 235 demplots in the last campaign, which more than 6,000 producers visited and observed its benefits.
Another novelty for the coming months on the local market is Melyra, BASF's new fungicide, which combines two ingredients – pyraclostrobin and the new Revysol molecule, which gives it properties of high biological action, differentiating it from conventional triazoles.
Gonzalo Caldiz, Sustainability Consultant at BASF, participated in the panel ″The role of agriculture in mitigating climate change″.
He stated that the company is an ally ″with the farmer to find the right balance between caring for people, the environment and agricultural productivity. At BASF, we are convinced that we can only achieve this balance with a firm commitment to innovation and sustainability.″
Gustavo Portis, director of BASF's Agricultural Solutions Division for Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia, says that the ″commitment to Argentina is long-term. After more than 70 years in the country, we continue to promote investments in innovation, both locally and globally.″
At its stand, visitors could learn about what is to come in crop protection, seed treatment, hybrids and updates to its digital solutions.
