Recently, KingAgroot’s Cypyrafluone and other patented compounds were approved and registered by the Ministry of Agriculture of Pakistan, which is the first registration of this series of products overseas, marking the official start of KingAgroot foreign sales in the overseas market.
Cypyrafluone is a patent p-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (HPPD) inhibiting herbicide, which was independently developed by KingAgroot. It was officially registered with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China on 30 August 2018. This is the first time that HPPD inhibitor be used to control grass weeds in wheat, and there is no cross-resistance with other wheat herbicides.

Pakistan has important strategic significance in the Asian market, thus KingAgroot chose Pakistan as the first overseas market. As we know, Pakistan is a typical agricultural country, mainly relies on crop farming, with wheat, rice and corn as major food crops. The wheat planting area accounts for about 40% of the country's total arable land. However, farmers are plagued by weeds such as Phalaris minor, which is highly resistant to local existing herbicides. Because of its vigorous growth and strong reproductive ability and fast expansion, this weed is seriously affecting the agricultural production in Pakistan.
In order to improve the efficiency and quality of world agricultural production and ensure world food security, KingAgroot has been carrying out scientific weed control trials in Pakistan. Data shows that Cypyrafluone can effectively control most weeds in wheat fields, especially local Phalaris minor, and help farmers greatly save planting costs.
In addition to Cypyrafluone, Bipyrazone was also registered in Pakistan. In the future, Tripyrasulfone and Fenpyrazone will also be registered and commercialized in Pakistan. Bipyrazone, Tripyrasulfone and Fenpyrazone are all new HPPD inhibitors developed by KingAgroot. Bipyrazone can be safely used to effectively control the resistant and multi-resistant broadleaf weeds such as flixweed, shepherd's-purse and chickweed. Tripyrasulfone is a top solution to multi-resistant barnyard grass and sprangletop. It is the first time that HPPD inhibitor is safely used in rice for post-emergence foliar spray treatment; Fenpyrazone is an excellent management tool for ALS-resistant weeds in maize such as crabgrass, barnyardgrass and foxtail resistant to Nicosulfuron because they have no cross-resistance.
Besides Pakistan, KingAgroot has been carrying out pesticide registrations in Indonesia, Cambodia and other Southeast Asia countries. KingAgroot has conducted 22 registration projects in overseas countries, 13 of them have obtained registration and 9 projects are under way.
As of the end of November 2021, KingAgroot has patented 189 Chinese inventions and 84 of them have been authorized; 113 PCT international inventions and accumulatively 763 have entered different countries in the world through PCT or The Paris Convention, while accumulatively 157 of them have been authorized. At present, KingAgroot’s patent compounds have been tested in North America, Europe, Australia, South America, India, Southeast Asia and other countries/regions. In the future, KingAgroot will continue to export its patented products to more countries and contribute to world food security.
With the development of the overseas market of KingAgroot, we are in urgent need of professional talents with relevant overseas working experience to join us.
