On November 8, Changqing (Hubei) Biotech held a production opening ceremony. In July 2020, Changqing launched its 5th production base in Baiyang Industrial Park, Yichang High-Tech Zone, Hubei Province, China, at a total investment of RMB 2.5 billion (two phases) taking a land are of 416 mu (1 hectare = 15 mu). After 15-month construction, the project phase I is about to run, which becomes Changqing’s largest and state-of-the-art production base. The operation of the Yichang project will enrich the product structure and extend the industrial chain of Changqing, which will facilitate more intensified and higher-level cooperation between Changqing and customers at home and abroad.
Changqing (Hubei) Biotech is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Changqing. Upon completion of Phase I, the company will be able to produce annually 2,000 tons of lambda-cyhalothrin technical, 1,000 tons of bifenthrin technical, 2,000 tons of fomesafen technical, 500 tons of nicosulfuron technical, 1,600 tons of diafenthiuron technical, 600 tons of fipronil technical, 3,000 tons of thiamethoxam technical, 1,500 tons of acetamiprid technical, 500 tons of fluazinam technical, 1,000 tons of chlorantraniliprole technical, 6,500 tons of benzofuran and 2,000 tons of 2,6-diisopropylaniline, totaling to 13,700 tons of pesticide technicals and 8,500 tons of chemicals per year.
