Recently, 200 million spores per gram of the Paecilomyces lilacinus powder manufactured by a Chinese agrochemical company was granted registration by China's Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture (ICAMA).
The registration was approved to control the citrus nematodes, which is recommended for use before the emergence of the new treetop, and before the growth of new roots, in the early stages. This is the first-time registration of Paecilomyces lilacinus for application to citrus trees in China.
Previously, Paecilomyces lilacinus was registered in China for control of tomato and lawn (root and knot) nematodes.
