Ihara announced the launch in Brazil of the insecticide Maxsan (Dinotefuran + Pyriproxyfen) for soybean, potato, sugar cane, pastures and beans.
According to the manufacturer, the product has a “4MAX effect that makes it the only one in control of all stages of the froghopper and whitefly (Bemisia tabaci race B)”.
“Having innovative characteristics, through the actions that the new technology provides in the field, the shock effect, ovicidal effect with a lower percentage of hatched eggs and sterile adults, and population reduction effect, which contributes to the reduction of the population of these pests that they reach the reproductive phase, in addition to increasing the interval between postures,” Ihara explained.
According to a statement, “The company constantly invests in research, not only to develop new solutions but also in new knowledge of existing products, to meet the needs of farmers in combating detractors from the most diverse cultures.”
“And that is exactly what happened with our insecticide Maxsan, launched recently. As this product is exclusive in Brazil, developed from a highly innovative molecule, we invested in studies and proved that it has a much more complete effect when acting in all phases of these pests, providing high control power, in addition to being unique with double residual and ovicidal effect for the stink bug in soybeans,” said Ihara's Insecticidal Products manager, Marcos Vilhena.
