Ammon News reports Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) and IFFCO inked an agreement to sell 2.6 tons of phosphate for a year, as of April 1 until the end of March 2022.
JPMC CEO, Abdel Wahab Alrowwad. says as a result of the agreement, IFFCO will import 2.6 million tonnes of phosphate from Jordan by the close of March 2022.
The IFFCO Group is the largest consumer of phosphates outside Jordan, and one of the strategic partners of the JPMC. JPMC exports to India account for 65 percent of the total export volume of phosphate ore of various kinds.
