The Spanish company, Idai Nature, a biocontrol unit of the Rovensa Group, announced its entry into the Brazilian market by opening its first branch in the state of São Paulo. According to information from the company, the Brazilian office will serve as an operations center to increase its presence in the country.
Carlos Ledó (Founder and CEO of Idai Nature) said, “This is a crucial strategic move that will serve as an impetus to successfully continue the company's global expansion plan.”
Based in Valencia, Spain, the company specializes in biopesticides and currently has branches in 40 countries. It also plans to increase its presence with new strategic acquisitions, which will be made public by the end of the year.
Three of Idai Nature’s branches are located in the Americas and generate at least 70% of its overseas sales. According to the company, the new Brazilian subsidiary will consolidate and strengthen its presence in the American continent, where it already has two other branches, Idai Nature USA and Idai Nature México.
Idai Nature was created in 2009 and, after joining the Rovensa Group in 2018, has become one of the largest groups in the global agricultural industry. It increased its sales by 300% from last year, reaching 40 million in turnover. "Our commitment to continuous innovation and internationalization is an advantage of this company. Due to our natural solutions, Idai Nature, which has already helped thousands of farmers grow the best quality food in a safe and sustainable way, aims to lead the world market for agricultural biocontrol in the short term,” Ledó said in conclusion.
