The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) has proposed to approve Arysta Lifescience Australia’s Kanemite Miticide, which contains a new active ingredient - acequinocyl.
Kanemite Miticide will be approved for the control of two-spotted mite in pome fruit and stone fruit.
According to the company, KANEMITE Miticide offers exceptional control of key mite species in a variety of specialty crops, including strawberries, hops, almonds and walnuts. This powerful miticide delivers rapid knockdown and long-lasting residual activity on two-spotted spider mite, European red mite, strawberry spider mite, Pacific mite and citrus red mite while going easy on predator mites and beneficials.
Public comments to this proposal will be closed on December 1, 2020.
